Comparative politics has presented to the globe a different outlook on how peace can be attained or maintained in a world that is often characterized by conflicts and disagreements. Comparative politics involves an analysis of various political systems, structures, and activities of different states.
By comparing and contrasting the political systems and structures of different countries, researchers understand the different value systems, beliefs, traditions, material stakes, and capabilities of societies.
